Valiant Bank

Initial situation

Valiant Bank, headquartered in Bern, one of the most innovative and fastest growing retail banks in Switzerland, intended to enter the Crypto Finance business in 2020. After this strategic decision, which was driven in particular by the product management team and its representative in the executive board, the focus was first on a sound education and training of the (product management) staff before working on the development and marketing of corresponding products.

Service

Bravis designed and delivered a two-part customized training for Valiant's product management team. In the first part, the fundamentals of Bitcoin and Crypto Assets were taught using compact inputs on the topics of technology, investment and compliance, interactive arena-style discussion rounds, and focused presentation tasks. In the second part, the focus was on the bank's positioning in the crypto asset market and the identification, development and marketing of a corresponding product range.

Result

We were able to bring the entire product management team, in which all fronts were represented, from savvy crypto enthusiasts to inquisitive crypto beginners to critical crypto opponents, up to a good level of knowledge regarding Bitcoin and crypto assets. In the second part, important impulses were set for the strategic positioning of the bank, and concrete product development projects in terms of crypto asset trading were initiated. The feedback of the participants was positive and the motivation to deal with the topic in more depth was great.
